Infrared braising and grilling tunnel

Infrared technology is very popular in food production for braising, colouring and browning foods and ready meals without cooking the core of the product.

Let's talk about your project

Advantages of a Capic infrared braising appliance

With its modular design, the braising tunnel can meet most production capacity requirements.

Infrared technology

Infrared heating from electric heating elements transmits heat without coming into contact with the product. For the food industry, we use high-performance stainless steel heaters.

Consistency of colour

To ensure even colouring results, the high-performance shielded electrical resistors are housed in stainless steel sections with parabolic reflectors positioned at right angles to the direction of travel of the conveyor. The parabolic reflectors themselves are housed in removable cassettes supported by a height-adjustable frame, so that the distance between the resistors and the products can be adjusted as much as possible.

Energy performance

The modular design means that the heating zones can be selected to best match the energy output to the desired production capacity. In addition, the efficiency of the heating elements is improved by the parabolic reflectors that direct the radiation towards the product. Heat loss is kept to a minimum by high-performance insulation on the doors and walls of the modules.

Easy cleaning & maintenance

To facilitate cleaning and maintenance operations, each module has two hinged side doors for easy access to the work area.
