Capic was awarded the Acanthe OR “Building Safer” distinction in 2016. This award from Carsat aims to promote the creation of a workplace that incorporates occupational risk prevention right from the design stage. During the construction of its new 16,000 m2 production site and head office, the management team worked towards a spacious and comfortable workplace.

Pollution collection systems were installed, with welding fume and dust extraction systems to ensure ventilation of the workshop. The choice of materials used in the construction process has enabled noise to be dealt with by means of acoustic insulation and absorption partitions. Roller bridges and lifting systems help to reduce handling effort. The installation of thermal insulation, appropriate lighting and flow control have improved working comfort for employees. The new space includes a spacious showroom as well as a demonstration and training room that has been redesigned down to the last detail.

Today, Capic’s 180 employees occupy secure workstations and work in a welcoming, comfortable environment. The company’s products are showcased and lorry traffic is facilitated, enabling production to be dispatched both in France and internationally.
